Tuesday, July 5th 6-7:30pm
MOVIE NIGHT: Oceans (rated G)
Bring all your kids and start off the Summer Reading Program viewing spectacular footage of the Earth’s oceans and the marine life under the sea. Film will be shown in the air-conditioned community room - please enter through the downstairs entrance. 


Tuesday, July 12th. 6-7pm

WHALES & SEALS

Explore the lives of the whales and seals in our ocean waters. Special Storytime with hands-on science activities and experiments led by volunteers from UNH’s Marine Docent program. On the campus lawn across the street from the library. Bring blankets/chairs, bug spray.  


Tuesday, July 19th, 6:30-7:30pm. 

MINIBOATS ACROSS THE OCEAN

Join Rye NH Middle School students and teacher Sheila Adams as they share their experiences tracking a student-made boat they launched to the sea. These kids and their boat made national news last winter - come and find out why. Also, learn from them how to track the many miniboats that are at sea right now. Program will be held in the community room of the library - please enter through the downstairs entrance.

AQUATIC CRITTERS FROM THE SQUAM LAKES SCIENCE CENTER

Water is essential for life on our planet. From marshes and ponds to lakes and rivers, aquatic communities support an amazing array of life. Join a Science Center naturalist to meet three different live animals who depend on New Hampshire’s waters. Learn about their habitats, adaptations, and populations. On the campus lawn across the street from the library. Bring blankets/chairs, bug spray. 


Tuesday, August 2nd 6-7:30pm

MOVIE NIGHT: The Little Mermaid (rated G)

Interactive scripts and fun props will bring The Little Mermaid to life during a special screening of this movie. Sing along with Ariel as you watch with your family and friends. Film will be shown in the air-conditioned community room - please enter through the downstairs entrance. 


Tuesday, August 9th 6:30pm
ZACH BENTON’S “SEASIDE REVIEW”.

He’s back! Melodious Zach! Sing-along music, comedy, skits, and more from this local talented performer. On the campus lawn across the street from the library. Bring blankets and chairs, bug spray and water. 


Tuesday, August 16th at 6:30 

OUR FINAL CELEBRATION

An ice cream social! We provide the ice cream; you bring a topping to share. Also, bring chairs and bug spray. On the campus lawn across the street from the library, in the shade of the maple tree.

Every Thursday: All-ages Storytime - Stories & a craft, friends & fun. 10:45-11:45am
