What a great night to end our Summer Reading Program! First, we had ice cream courtesy of
The Common Man Restaurants with assorted toppings donated by families. Then we were entertained by the magic and comedy of
Bob Riordan. He wowed us with amazing tricks (including a math one!) and told us that, when he was a child, he became interested in magic after reading a book about it. Several times, he reminded the audience about what great resources libraries are!
I keep thinking about his presentation...I wonder how made those strings move...how he made that red hankie come out of that lady's sleeve...how he changed the color of that umbrella...
